Australia Offers 300 Scholarship

VIVAnews - The Australian Government offers scholarships for S2 and S3 300 Indonesian students in 2010 through the Australian Development Scholarships (ADS). Registration began June 7 and concludes August 27.

ADS Coordinator Christian Ninuk in Makassar, Wednesday, March 31, 2010, said the scholarship is open to the public and private sectors. The division includes 200 scholarships for civil servants and 100 to the public.

Areas of study are offered, including Indonesian human resources capacity building, development that supports sustainable growth and economic management, investment in human development, democracy, justice and good governance, and peace.

ADS scholarship application form can be obtained at various institutions such as training centers for each department, rectorate public and private universities, and can be downloaded at www.adsindonesia.or.id.

ADS is a scholarship program funded by the Australian Government through AusAID. These scholarships aim to increase cooperation between Australia and Indonesia.
