
Singapore property tycoon, Ng Teng Fong died at the age of 82 years. Singapore's richest man had died after surgery following a brain hemorrhage on January 23, 2010. According to family spokesperson, Ng died on Tuesday (2/2/2010) morning in Singapore.
Ng noted as one of the richest people in Singapore by Forbes as the value of wealth reached U.S. $ 8 billion. Ng also held the 87th position in the list of richest people in the world in 2009.
Ng and his family are the owners of Far East Organization and Sino Group. When combined, these Ng's company became the largest property business group in Asia with assets of over U.S. $ 40 billion.
Ng-owned company control of nearly a quarter of the housing market in Singapore. Far East Organization recorded manages 700 hotels, malls and condominiums in Singapore and Hong Kong as well as network control Fullerton Hotel Singapore.
